Meet the 2026 Kim Cameron Award Recipients
Once again, this year’s Kim Cameron Award assures us that the future of our industry is in good hands. We received dozens of applications thoughtful, passionate identity professionals from all over the world. As always, our judges had a difficult task in making the final selection. Priya Venkateshan

Priya Venkateshan is a technology leader and software engineer with extensive experience designing and building scalable, secure digital systems. With a strong background in full-stack engineering and distributed architectures, she focuses on creating solutions that improve trust, accessibility, and reliability in modern digital ecosystems. Her work emphasizes building resilient infrastructure, enabling secure digital interactions, and advancing technologies that strengthen privacy and user-centric identity.

She actively explores how emerging technologies can expand secure access to digital services and create new opportunities for economic participation.

Adwait Shinganwade
Attending: Identiverse
Adwait is an aspiring software engineer with an active interest in security. During his tenure at Michelin, he earned the opportunity to build custom backend logic for integrating systems. This stoked his interest in identity and access management, since he had to write logic that bridged heterogeneous systems.
He is currently conducting research in the domain of identity and authorization management for autonomous AI agents. Existing IAM solutions were built for deterministic actors. How can we embrace the utility offered by these agents while ensuring that their actions are aligned with the intent of the task? That is the problem he wants to solve!

Luiky Magno Luz de Vasconcelos
Attending: Internet Identity Workshop
Luiky is a software engineer, who is particularly interested in identity protocols and how they can be used to build secure and interoperable systems. His current work involves Open Data ecosystems such as Open Finance and Open Insurance in Brazil, where he builds systems using OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect. In his free time, he works on side projects related to these technologies and contribute to open-source tools in this space.
